The wastewater treatment and collection structures were constructed using Xypex crystalline waterproofing solutions to ensure long-term durability under continuous exposure to moisture, chemicals, and aggressive environmental conditions. Products Used: Xypex Admix C-1000 NF, Xypex Concentrate, Xypex Patch’n Plug Scope: Wastewater treatment tanks, collection structures, and associated concrete elements. Details: Xypex Admix C-1000 NF was incorporated during batching to provide integral waterproofing throughout the concrete matrix. Additional Xypex products were applied to critical construction joints and surfaces to ensure full watertightness and protection against chemical attack, chlorides, and carbonation. Outcome: Enhanced durability and resistance to water ingress and aggressive environments, with self-healing capabilities for micro-cracks—resulting in reduced maintenance and extended service life of the facility.
